If you are not a member and wish to become one, please use the membership application tab to join our family. If you are a current member please join us at our monthly membership meeting.
Meeting times are as follows: Auxiliary*, 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30 PM; Legion Membership, 2nd Monday of the month at 7PM; Sons of the American Legion (SAL)*, 3rd Monday of the month at 7PM; AmVets Post 706**, First Tuesday of the month at 6:30PM; Corporation Meeting, First Monday of even numbered months (IE February, April,..... etc) at 7PM. All members are urged to attend these meetings.
*The SAL and Auxiliary do not hold meetings the months of July and August.
**AmVets Post 706 does not meet the months of January-February-March.

Please make plans to sign up for and attend the Installation of Officers Dinner, Saturday May 25th at 7PM
Monday, May 27th is Memorial Day. Our Post 616 Color Guard will be marching in parades in both Schuyler Lake and here in Richfield. Please show your patriotism by coming to watch and support them. After the parades we hope you will stop by for our annual Memorial Day Chicken Barbeque here at the Post. The chicken is cooked by members of our SAL squadron. Meals will be $8.00; Halves will be $5.00. Guitarist Fritz Henry will be performing in our Pavilion starting at around 11:30. Hope to see you there!
Since our charter in 1919, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.
